OPHIDIAN CODEX operates as the textual and diagrammatic counterpart to Serpent Vessel and Votive Spiral. Combining historical reference, speculative narration, and recursive annotation, it traces a constellation of links between scientific discovery, occult symbolism, and the persistence of snake imagery across different systems of knowledge. The codex functions less as a didactic wall text than as an interpretive device: a map of correspondences through which chemistry, biology, myth, and media history begin to fold into one another. If the sculptures give material form to moments of revelation, Ophidian Codex provides the conceptual architecture around them, staging a space where fact and fiction, record and interpretation, remain deliberately entangled.
